Greater Haverhill's #1 Butcher Shop is getting better!

Haverhill Beef has been asked by many of our online and offline Customers to start delivering our meat products to their home or office..... We have listened and now we have some exciting news: "Haverhill Beef has teamed up with Not Enough Time (a Haverhill delivery and services company) to make your life easier!"

- Starting on Wednesday, May 8th for Massachusetts Customers, and on Friday, May 10th for New Hampshire Customers, we will begin our delivery service to your home or office.

- Wednesday deliveries will be the following towns in Massachusetts:

Andover, Amesbury, Boxford, Georgetown, Groveland, Haverhill,
Merrimac, Methuen, Lawrence, North Andover, Newburyport, West Newbury

Friday deliveries will be the following towns in New Hampshire:

Atkinson, Danville, East Kingston, East Hampstead, Hampstead,
Kingston, Newton, Plaistow, Salem

SUMMARY OF DELIVERY SERVICE:

1) Orders must be in by 9 a.m. to Haverhill Beef on the day of delivery.
~ Massachusetts On Wednesdays
~ New Hampshire Customers On Fridays
2) Deliveries will be made between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
3) Someone MUST be there to receive the order. NO ORDER will be left unattended.
4) A $10.00 fee will be added to each order for delivery.
5) Payments will be accepted by the one of the following methods:
~ Cash, Check (if Customer has a Haverhill Beef Courtesy Card on file at our store) or Major Credit Card.

You may use a check to make your Haverhill Beef purchase if you have a Haverhill beef Courtesy card. We will though need a Courtesy Card Application completely filled out and brought back to the store.

** 3 RECIPES FOR YOU FROM HAVERHILL BEEF **

Trattoria Beef Burger

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Ready In: 30 Minutes
Makes 4 burgers

Ingredients:
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 tsp. dried basil leaves
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 loaf focaccia bread
1 jar roasted red bell peppers, drained
4 slices mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup prepared pesto sauce

Directions:
1. Preheat grill to medium heat.

2. Combine the ground beef, basil, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix lightly and form into 4 equal patties 3/4-inch thick.

3. Grill over heat to 160°F internal temperature.

4. Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise and prepared pesto sauce and set aside.

5. Cut focaccia bread into 4 pieces and split each in half horizontally. Spread each cut side of the bread with 1 Tbsp. of the mayonnaise/pesto mixture.

6. Top each hamburger patty with a slice of cheese during the last minute of grilling. Top with one fourth of the roasted red peppers and serve on the prepared focaccia bread.

Boneless Pork Tenderloin Diane

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Ready In: 25 Minutes
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
1 whole pork tenderloin, cut into 8 crosswise pieces
2 teaspoons lemon pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard
1 tablespoon minced parsley

Directions:
1. Place each piece of tenderloin between 2 pieces of plastic wrap. Flatten slightly with heel of hand. Sprinkle surfaces of pork with lemon pepper.

2. Heat butter in heavy nonstick skillet; brown pork evenly, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove to serving platter, keep warm.

3. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and mustard to skillet. Cook, stirring with pan juices, until heated through.

4. Pour sauce over medallions, sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Chicken Diablo

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Marinating Time: 1 Hour
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Ready in: 1 Hour and 20 Minutes
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
2 boneless-skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2-3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2-3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Salt (optional)
1 lemon, sliced

Directions:
1. In shallow bowl, combine lemon juice, oil, garlic, peppers and salt.

2. Add chicken to marinade, turning to coat both sides. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 1 hour or longer.

3. Preheat broiler.

4. Drain chicken, reserving marinade.

5. Broil 6 to 8 inches from heat source 6 to 8 minutes on each side until cooked through.

6. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, bring marinade to a boil; turn chicken 2 or 3 times during cooking and brush with boiled marinade.

7. To serve, garnish with lemon slices.

** GRILL TIP FROM DUCANE GAS GRILLS **

Post-Heating . . . .

QUESTION: What is post-heating?

ANSWER: In order to assist in cleaning your grill (SEAR-GRIDS®) and to completely vaporize remaining juices, a post-heating of at least 15 minutes is recommended with the burners on high.

Hood Open Or Closed . . . .

QUESTION: Should I grill with the hood opened or closed?

ANSWER: This is a matter of personal preference. Cooking with the hood closed is recommended if you enjoy cooking at maximum "searing" temperatures. Flare-up will occur more often with this method. Cooking slower with the lid up will produce less flare-ups and tenderize your food. Note: When using the Rotis motor - hood must be closed except when basting.
