** 3 RECIPES FOR YOU **

Roma Boneless Pork Chops

Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 30 Minutes
Ready In: 1 Hour
Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:
6 boneless pork chops
3 cups Italian-style bread crumbs
2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Italian-style seasoning
1 teasoon basil
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup butter, melted

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

2. In a medium bowl, combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian-style seasoning, basil, rosemary, olive oil and garlic powder and mix together well.

3. Dip the chops in the melted butter and then dredge each chop in the bread crumb mixture, coating all sides thoroughly.

4. Place the chops in a 9x13 inch baking dish.

5. Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes, or until internal pork temperature reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

Grilled Rosemary Club Sirloin Steaks

Prep Time: 15 to 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 to 18 Minutes
Ready In: 30 to 38 Minutes
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
4 boneless club sirloin steaks, cut 1 inch thick
2 teaspoon rosemary
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:
1. Preheat grill to medium heat.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, rosemary, onion powder and garlic powder.

3. Sprinkle both sides of boneless club sirloin steaks with the mixture above; press firmly into beef.

4. Place the steaks on the grill grid and grill, uncovered, for about 15 to 18 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally.

Lemon-Ginger Glazed Boneless Chicken Breast

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Ready in: 20 Minutes
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
4 boneless-skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup chopped-up lemons
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Directions:

1. Preheat grill to medium heat.

2. In small bowl, combine the chopped lemons,garlic, vinegar, lemon juice and ginger until well blended.

3. Grill the boneless-skinless chicken breasts, turning occasionally and brushing with glaze, 15 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center registers 170°F. Note: Do not brush during the last 5 minutes of grilling.

** COOKING TIP **

Pork is best and safe when cooked to medium doneness reaching 160 degrees F. on a meat thermometer. Correctly cooked pork will always be juicy and tender, with a slight blush of pink in the center.

Pork Stewing Basics. . . .

This method of cooking pork is usually for smaller pieces of less-tender cuts, such as shoulder cubes.

1) Season meat, if desired.

2) In large, heavy skillet with lid, brown meat on all sides in a small amount of oil; remove excess drippings from pan.

3) Add a small amount of liquid and cover pan tightly.

4) Simmer over low heat on the stove or in a low to moderate (275 to 300 degrees F.) oven.

Pork Braising Basics . . . .

This method of cooking pork is usually for large or small cuts, but traditionally less-tender cuts.

1) Coat meat lightly with seasoned flour, if desired.

2) In a large, heavy pan with lid, brown meat on all sides in a small amount of oil; remove excess drippings from pan.

3) Cover meat with desired liquid(s).

4) Cover pan and simmer over low heat on stove or in a low to moderate (275 to 300 degrees F.) oven for 1 to 3 hours, until tender.

5) If adding vegetables, add toward end of cooking time, during the last 20 to 45 minutes.

NOTE: NEVER, NEVER LET YOUR CHILDREN COOK OR GRILL UNSUPERVISED!
