** PATRIOTS RECIPES **
Tom Brady's Beat-The-Blitz Boiled Dinner
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: about 3 Hours
Ready In: about 3 Hours and 10 Minutes
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
4 lbs. grey corned beef
4 quarts cold water
3 large onions
2 large turnips
1 medium size head of cabbage
6 large carrots
6 medium potatoes
1. Peel the potatoes, carrots, turnips, and onions and cut
them and the cabbage into quarters. Set aside.
2. Rinse the grey corned beef in cold water; then place the
grey corned beef in a Dutch oven and cover the beef with the
water.
3. Bring to a boil, and drain. Discard the water.
4. Cover the grey corned beef again with four more quarts
of water and let it simmer until tender for about 2 hours.
5. Remove the grey corned beef from the water. Set aside.
(Be sure there is at least three pints of the water left in the
pan - if not, add water.)
6. Add the onions to the water and cook for 30 minutes; then
add the rest of the turnips, cabbage, carrots and potatoes and
cook for 25 to 30 minutes longer, or until the vegetables are
tender.
7. Meanwhile, slice the cooked grey corned beef and place
in the middle of a large meat platter.
8. To serve, remove the cooked vegetables from the water and
place them on the platter around the corned beef.

Adam Vinatieri's Victory Veal Cutlets
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: about 22 Minutes
Ready In: about 37 Minutes
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
4 veal cutlets
salt and pepper
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon rosemary
1 teaspoon oregano
8 ounces sliced Mozzarella cheese
1 cup dry seasoned Italian bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
olive oil for frying
1 can tomato sauce (8 ounces)
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a mixing bowl, mix together the flour, rosemary and
oregano. Set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Set aside.
4. In a mixing bowl, place the Italian bread crumbs. Set aside.
5. In a nonstick-frying pan, heat the olive oil.
6. Sprinkle cutlets with salt and pepper; then lightly dredge
each veal cutlet in flour mixture; then dip the veal cutlets
in the beaten egg, then place the veal cutlets in the seasoned
bread crumbs and cover all sides.
7. Place the breaded veal cutlets into hot frying pan and
fry for about 4 minutes on each side, or until browned.
8. After frying, place veal cutlets in baking dish; spoon
tomato sauce over and sprinkle with the basil. Place the Mozzarella
slices over the cutlets; then bake at for 10 to 15 minutes.
9. Serve with your favorite pasta.

Tedy Bruschi's Beat'em Beefy-Beef Burgundy
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: about 1 Hour and 10 Minutes
Ready In: about 1 Hour and 25 Minutes
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients:
2 lbs. extra lean beef for stew
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup sliced carrots
3/4 cup dry red or burgundy wine
2 cups beef broth
3 cups ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups frozen pearl onions
16 ounces egg noodles, uncooked
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Set
aside.
2. Dredge the beef pieces in the seasoned flour mixture, coating
all sides of the beef thoroughly.
3. In a Dutch oven, melt the butter and olive oil; then add
half of the beef and the over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally,
until meat is browned. Remove and set side the beef; then repeat
with remaining beef.
4. Return all of the beef to the Dutch oven; then add the
carrots, wine, bouillon, mushrooms, and garlic.
5. Bring to a boil; then reduce heat to low. Cover and cook,
stirring occasionally, for about 1 hour, or until meat is tender.
6. Add the onions and continue cooking until heated through.
7. Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to package directions;
drain well.
8. To serve, arrange beef mixture over noodles in individual
shallow bowls.
