** 3 RECIPES FOR YOU **

Crock Pot Beef Chuck Stew

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 6 to 10 Hours
Ready In: Minimum 6 Hours and 16 Minutes
Makes 6 to 8 servings

Ingredients:
3 lbs. boneless beef chuck pot roast cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 cup all-purpose four
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp rosemary
3/4 cup ready-to-serve beef broth
1/4 cup tomato paste
1/4 cup dry red wine
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. red-skinned potatoes (1 1/2-inch diameter), cut into quarters
8 oz. mushroom, cut into quarters
1 cup baby carrots
fresh parsley

Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, thyme and rosemary. Set flower mixture aside.

2. Place the boneless beef chuck pot roast in a large Crock Pot. Sprinkle with the flour mixture; toss to coat.

3. In a small bowl, combine beef broth, tomato paste, wine and garlic; mix well. Add to beef.

4. Add the potatoes, mushrooms and carrots; mix well.

5. Cover and cook on HIGH 6 hours, or on LOW 8-9 hours, or until beef and vegetables are tender. NOTE: No stirring is necessary during cooking.

6. Stir well before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Beef Sirloin Over Long Grain Rice

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 30 Minutes
Ready In: 40 Minutes
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
2 lbs. plain sirloin tip steak, cubed
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp thyme
salt to taste
crack black pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. olive oil
long grain rice

Directions:
1. Heat the olive oil in heavy frying pan over medium-high heat.

2. Brown beef cubes and add the garlic powder, thyme, salt and pepper.

3. Add 1 cup water to pan and thicken with flour mixture. Simmer 30 minutes, or until beef is tender.

4. While beef is simmering, cook the long grain rice according to package.

5. Serve the beef over the rice.

Italian-Style Sirloin Stir Fry

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Hours
Ready In: 25 Minutes
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
2 lbs. New York Sirloin Steak, cut 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. rosemary
2 Tbsp. olive oil
3 small zucchini, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups cherry tomato halves
1/2 cup fat-free bottled Italian salad dressing
salt to taste
pepper to taste
2 cups hot cooked pasta
1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
1. Cut the New York Sirloin Steak crosswise into 1-inch wide strips. Cut each strip crosswise in half. Set aside.

2. Heat the olive oil in large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add garlic and rosemary and stir while cooking 1 minute.

4. Add half of the New York Sirloin Steak strips. Stir-fry 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until no longer pink. Remove with slotted spoon and keep warm. Repeat with remaining beef strips.

5. Add the zucchini slices to same skillet. Stir-fry 2-3 minutes or until tender-crisp.

6. Return New York Sirloin Steak strips to skillet with the tomato halves and dressing. Heat through. Salt and pepper to taste.

7. Serve over hot pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese

** BASIC COOKING INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAVERHILL BEEF MEATS **

BEEF OVEN ROASTS: Bake at 350 degrees F.

- RARE: 15 to 18 minutes per pound until Internal Temperature reaches 140 degrees F.

- MEDIUM: 20 minutes per pound until Internal Temperature reaches 150 degrees F.

- WELL: 25 minutes per pound until Internal Temperature reaches 170 degrees F.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BEEF POT ROASTS: Sear well all over. Add water to 1/2 height of roast, simmer approximately 1 hour & 15 minutes per pound. Add onions for flavor.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

MARINATED SIRLOIN TIPS: Best on Grill OR Broil 5 to 7 minutes each side.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

CORNED BEEF & RIBS: Full boil for 30 minutes, then simmer for 45 minutes per pound.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

MEATLOAF: Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 45 minutes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

PORK & LAMB ROASTS: 30 minutes per pound at 350 degrees F until Internal Temperatures reaches 175 degrees F.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

STUFFED PORK CHOPS: Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees F. For best results, do not let pork chops touch each over and gently "tent" each pork chop with aluminum foil for the first 30 minutes.

BONELESS CHINESE STYLE SPARE RIBS: Best on Grill OR Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes.

HAMS: All hams are fully cooked. Bake 12 to 15 minutes per pound at 325 degrees F to heat throughout.

 

POULTRY - BROILERS & ROASTERS: Bake 30 minutes per pound until Internal Temperature reaches 185 to 190 degrees F.

MARINATED CHICKEN: Best on Grill Or Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes OR Broil 10 minutes each side.

BREADED CHICKEN CUTLETS: Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes OR Fry in oil until golden brown.

CHICKEN CORDON BLEU: Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
