COCKTAIL
MEATBALLS

Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1/8 cup water
1/2 cup bread crumbs
3 tablespoons diced onion
1 (8 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
6 ounces chili sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350
degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Mix together the ground beef, egg, water, bread crumbs and
chopped onion. Form into 25 to 30 small balls.
3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning once or microwave on high
for 5 minutes.
4. In a 2 quart saucepan over low heat, blend together the cranberry
sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice. Add meatballs
and simmer for one hour. |
