Mandarin
Orange Pork Chops

Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
4 boneless pork chops,
1/2-inch thick
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
2 small cans of mandarin oranges slices, drained
Directions:
1. In small bowl, stir
mustard and mandarin oranges together. Set aside.
2. In small bowl stir together the paprika, flour, salt, cinnamon,
allspice, rosemary and cloves.
3. Sprinkle on both sides of chops with the paprika mixture.
4. In large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat;
then add the pork chops to the skillet and cook the pork chops
on both sides, turning once, for a total of about 7-8 minutes.
5. Add the mustard/mandarin oranges to the skillet; then cook
and stir until heated through. |
